About The Kids' Lake
It's motivating for children to fish in an easily surveyable lake where there are extra good chances of a catch. The Kids' Lake is stocked with smaller rainbow trout weighing 0.5–3 kg, providing the young anglers with an exciting and educational experience.
For safety reasons, only single hooks are allowed for fishing in the Kids' Lake. Fishing with a float and Powerbait is the only permitted method and also a popular way for children to fish.
Remember that you must purchase a separate fishing licence for The Kids' Lake. The licence can only be bought during kiosk opening hours and is not valid for fishing in the large lake. You can also hire fishing rods in the equipment shop or kiosk.
Rules for The Kids' Lake
- The fishing licence is only valid for the Kids' Lake – not the large lake
- Only children under 12 years of age accompanied by an adult. Children must be supervised at all times
- Maximum 1 guest per purchased fishing licence
- Fishing licences for the Kids' Lake can only be purchased during kiosk opening hours
- Only single hooks size 10, bubble floats, and Powerbait are allowed for fishing.
- All trout must be taken home – no catch and release
