Open almost all year round. We are open on all public holidays. Opening hours vary by season.

Special Notes

  • The kiosk is open every day until 24th December.
  • Open for fishing, tackle shop, and kiosk on all public holidays. However, the tackle shop and kiosk will be closed on 24th–26th December.

Good to know

  • Fishing permits are purchased at the self-service box before 10:00. Here you can pay with cash or MobilePay.
  • Daily staffing on site from March right up until Christmas.
  • Sturgeon fishing requires heavy-duty equipment that complies with our rules. Read the rules here.
  • We have everything for fishing at the lake.
  • Dogs are not allowed in the area without prior agreement with staff.
  • Access to the area opens 30 minutes before Poppelsøen's opening time.
  • The area must be vacated no later than 30 minutes after closing. The electric gate closes automatically.
